The following is a podcast of a descriptive piece on Aunty Rosie

Auntie Rosie • A podcast on Anchor

Never have I ever seen such pride and graceful elegance wrapped up in three hundred pounds of fair, awesome delight. A ball of fire she was but one of nature’s most unique treasures. Auntie Rosie was the queen of our castle, handpicked and delivered by the Creator; Oh, what a joy to be around. The flaunt of a head full of thick, jet black, crisp curls, complimented her rich brown cinnamon complexion and broad cherry smile of her thick, drooping lips.  Auntie’s grinders were like gates of pearly whiteness; crammed in so neatly, as if some were going to fall out of line. Her soft, warm, fluffy bosom, would sink-in with each embrace.

Auntie’s strides were most adorable; with a turn and a twist and a glide she will dance up the screeching, wobbly stairs and into the shaggy wooden out-door kitchen to do her daily chores. This was the most amusing sight; seeing this gigantic creature being upkept by the rickety strips of tattered wood; it was like watching an elephant standing on a of bed of cobwebs.  As villagers passed by, they laughed and scoffed as Rosie’s wide figure seemed to topple over in the tiny battered kitchen as she made her bread.

Auntie Rosie made the loveliest butter bread; her coconut buns and souse were like none other. Rosie was also known for her loud farts and her crackling after, raised everyone’s laughter.  Rosie, got recognition for being a smart mouth, as her words were like fountains of bittersweet expressions.  One minute she was a prayer-warrior, with prayer, praise and singing of a sweet melodious voice to cheer every broken heart. Then before the week ends Rosie’s voice could be heard over all the village commotion throwing sharp words at a neighbor, she had to give a piece of her mind. Auntie Rosie was quite mysterious, at times she could not be understood but was found to be an inspiration to all.
